The car starts occasionally, so it must be a wire issue. The previous owner had this wire run from under the car to near the fuse box under the hood.

This is the location of the wire connection. I am trying to find what that wire is crappily woven in to.

It ends up here.

Not connected to anything.

Just trying to figure out what it is tapping into.

Here is my actual issues from the truck not starting.

Any ideas on how to find the wire? Looks like a mess and all the wires are covered.

CLIFFNOTES: Need to figure out that wire under the passenger seat side under the body.

Very good page to bookmark here:

Ford doesn't change wire colors much.

OK, fuel pump relay has one full time 12volt connector that comes from the 30amp fuel pump fuse and the battery, it always has 12v, key on/off doesn't matter.
Black/yellow wire
This is the power for the fuel pump

Then there is a 12v connector when key is on, only when key is on, this is the Relay power, this 12v comes from the EEC Relay.
Red wire.
One of the other connectors is a Ground but a controlled ground, this wire goes to the Computer, the computer Grounds this wire for 2 seconds when key is turned on, closing the relay and sending the "Fused" 12v to the pump, this Primes the fuel system.
Light Blue/orange wire.
Then after engine starts computer will Ground the relay to turn pump on and off based on RPM and Throttle.

The 4th connection goes to the inertia switch inside the cab by passenger footwell.
Dark Green/yellow wire
This is a safety switch that will cut power to pump in case of a sudden stop or roll over.
So:

Battery-----30 amp fuse-------relay-------inertia switch--------fuel pump
