Just replaced Cylinder heads and its running rough. Figured out that number six isnt burning. Plug is sparking. But is fuel soaked when I pull it. Im thinking injector but it worked fine before the tear down. Any Ideas?:icon_confused:

Wouldn't the fuel be leaking in through a valve?

Going in when valve opens but not burning. Im thinking that number six injector is dumping fuel. Its the only thing I can come up with.

That is what I have heard on the subject, that the respective injector is leaking.

Time to tear it back down. The fuel rail on 456 is convienently located under the upper intake manifold.

+1, a compression test is in order to make sure there isnt a problem with the new head.

if you have good squeeze, swap that injector to another cylinder and see if the problem follows the injector.

Fixed

Intake valve push rod not on the lifter. Rocker was loose when I took the valve cover off. :icon_rofl:
no real guides for those pushrods.

the rockers are torqued with both valves closed. IIRC, something like 15ft-lbs.

truthfully, i torqued mine with some valves open (didnt bother spinning the engine over) and they are fine.
