Fuel injectors blue universal pintle caps not seated

I have a 93 ford ranger 3.0. I replaced the old broken pintle caps on the injectors. with the Blue universal caps.but they do not seat on the injector all the way. also the bottom O ring and spacer is also not tight(slides up and down the thickness of the O ring).is there a trick to get them to slid on all the way or is this normal.I tried a small socket and light tap to the cap,and they seam to be fully seated.These are the EV1 type injectors.thanks for any help.

twist them on

Yep the caps are to be seated all the way.they break if you use to much force.but a slight twist and a firm push and they will seat. maybe warming them a little with a hot air gun.
