Front Fuel Leak 1993 Ranger 4.0 XLT Auto

Sorry, things went crazy with rain we weren’t supposed to get Friday and I left my buddies place without grabbing my kit or taking down any information

Hey thanks man it's all good. I had other cats to skin anyways. For Mothers Day I had to pressure wash, prime, stain and replace an old board on my old deck. Also some Lawn cutting, shrub weeding and weed whacking.

It isn't my only vehicle, but I could of used the Ranger to pick up materials etc, it's all good, appreciate you looking out.

Ok so I tried the master quick connect kit to remove the stock disconnect fitting, it still won't budge. However I was able to push the two fuel lines down into the driver's side wheel well area and it looks much easier at that location to work on.
I'll try and tackle it tomorrow.

Question to @Curious Hound @lil_Blue_Ford
Where is the fuel filter located? I cannot locate it. Is at at The Front, the Rear, Passenger side or Driver's side. If worse comes to worse I may run a new fuel line straight from the rail to the filter.

Driver side frame rail, right under the driver seat.

Driver side frame rail, right under the driver seat.

Thanks, I couldn't find it. I'll give it another look tomorrow. So it's directly under the driver's seat?

I'm thinking of running a new fuel line straight from the filter to the fuel rail pressure regulator now.

Usually. That's Fords favorite place to put it.

Here is the one on my Explorer when I pulled it out of the bracket and let it hang to pump the tank dry.

Should be inside the frame rail, there may be a metal plate blocking direct view of it, I’m really not sure exactly how the 93-97 did it, but my Choptop has a like L-shaped plate bolted to the frame rail on the inside and the filter is behind that.
