Front End Problems...again.

finally got around to my truck and lifted up the driver side tire and moved it side to side and it had a horrible amount of play and you could see the ball joint moving inside the pitman arm.then i moved it from top to bottom and it has about an inch of play so here soon i guess im gonna have to put all new ball joints and wheel bearings in it

yeah, if ya gonna tear down the front to replace the ball joints....may as well replace the bearings and U-Joints while your at it....

If it moves, replace it. As long as it's apart check the tie rod ends. No need to replace the u-joints unless they are bad. Have fun. Ball joints aren't tough, just a pain in the ass. Get or rent a good ball joint press. Cheap one's aren't that much less expensive and aren't worth the headaches. Most rental centers have them.

yeah do i need a tool to get the ball joints out and is there anyway to press the ball joints in without using a tool..i heard you can tighten the bolt down and them them in..not sure,need a little bit of a crash course on ball joints cuz ive never done them.
