I just rebuilt my A4LD and am about to reinstall just i flush my cooler lines and run synthetic ATF with what ever that additive is it needs? or something else? Thanks for advice in advance guys!

Add a cooler if you can or have not already. The synthetic is over preiced if you ask me.

You don't need (and I actually recommend AGAINST using any) additives. Just ATF alone.

Its not the sort of thing that requires special anti-wear additives for break-in or anything?

No. Obviously you want to go easy until the clutches/steels and other new parts are seated and happy before you go full bore but other than that no additives should be put into an A4LD. Anything like a frictionmodiyer would be counter productive in any auto tranny and most other additves will cause the clutch plates to wear out prematurely and we all know what fun it is to R2 an A4LD in these trucks......

so straight synthetic ATF then is the common concensus?
