Found my wife a new truck!

Here are the pics of the progress I’ve made today and yesterday. Adjusting torsion bars and finishing passenger side ball joint and assembly tomorrow and transfer case install with the crossmember !

Little more progress 🤟😝
Got the 4406 case hung and crossmember in today! Unfortunately I broke the small stud on the starter and have to get another one. Gotta hit the junk yard and see if I can find an exhaust mount and starter… other than that, it’s actually going smoothly.

Gonna be spending more time on the wife’s truck since her truck is in bad condition and getting worse.
Todays progress is down pipes (that was a nightmare) starter, and got the rear end out for the spring over conversion. Slowly but surely I’ll be getting her done soon since we are going on vacation in colorado in August. Not taking this truck, but would like it done or close to done lol

Just finished up the spring over axle conversion! Looks fantastic and I’ll get better pics in the morning. When cleaning the surface to weld the perches on I accidentally hit one of the brake lines so I have to replace it lol
All that aside…. It looks awesome! Set the pinion angle to 7.5 degrees

Got the rear end all bolted up minus the brake line I punctured and it’s sitting on its own weight for the first time in a while! Front suspension is almost complete with a few minor tweaks such as adjusting torsion bars etc…. My 33x12.50x15 dura trac tires actually fit too!!!! Getting so much closer!!!

Not a whole lot going on with it unfortunately I’ve been working and haven’t had a ton of time. I did end up getting the injectors and fuel rail installed along with the wiring harness, transmission cross member, and also got the exhaust tightened. Little more every day lol we are getting there!

Pic of the recent progress. Typical dressing of the engine lol been way too hot to work in the shop lately so I’ve been doing other stuff … (sitting in the river)

Painted the intake ford blue! Lol
Today was actually dedicated to figuring out the fuel line adapter …. Got that figured out,… we took the male end from the 05 explorer 4.0 and heated up the male end of the explorer donor and mated them together and BAM we have success!

Back to work on this truck since my other project is on hold indefinitely….
Running a 5 speed radiator without the cooler inside the rad tank.
Running 2 transmission coolers instead.
She is also sitting on the 33’s, although I’m going to need to do some adjusting on the torsion bars.
Took a stock v6 power steering cooler and flipped it upside down and ran the Rubber lines like stock.
