the new colorado has a 5.3 option 300 hp and like 320 tqr, wheres the v8 option for the rangers or at least turbo the 4.0 as painful as it is for me to say the rangers the low man on the totem pole when you compare it to the other STOCK mid size trucks...
praise be to ford bring the cyotee to the ranger....

Being that they're ending production of the Ranger why would they attempt to do a complete redesign to fit a new V8 in?

It's rumored to be an F100, slightly smaller than the F150.

i wish they would restyle the ranger and leave it the same size but drop the Coyote Five oh in that bad boy and send it out stock on 35s 4.88s and fox front shocks. the baby Raptor...

probably the courier, smaller v6 or larger 4 banger, good gas mileage (averaging around 32 Highway and 27mpg).

Its basically as if the ranchero and ranger had sex and came out with a baby:

As for the enigne's power, think a 3.0 or 3.2, and a smaller 2.1 or 2.3

Only makes sense too

ya,but how would it look with 44s

you would never catch me dead or alive in a courier. it will just never happen. in 20 years, you're ten times more likely to see me putzing around in an ancient ranger than a brand new courier, with or without a V8.

Colorado

2011 will be the last year for the Colorado also, like the Ranger.

ummm..... get with the times man. Ever since GM took government money, they axed their performance division....including the 5.3L H3 Alpha and the Colorado and Canyon pickups. I believe they lasted a whopping 2 model years??

This has been discussed several times on this site. The Ranger is gone very soon and there will be a new F100 single cab and crew cab coming out in about 1-2 years. It wil look a lot like this:

 That is the first time I've seen a pic of a concept Ranger/F100 and actually LIKE the way it looks. I really really hope we get that instead of those European or South American Rangers. Those are fugly IMO.
