You will need to replace the regulator in that door, the regulator is the scissor mechanism the motor operates to lift and lower the window, hit wrecking yards get it with motor attached.
The regulator is usually riveted in place so you will need a drill to remove it and then screws to install new one(short ones), or rivets if you have them.

For now if you can lift up on the window while you push the UP button the motor may catch the gear and window will roll up.
DO NOT use metal pliers on the glass it WILL shatter inside the door, take off door cover enough to lift window.

The brake light on the cab is a more common leak point than the rear window, so give it a close look

Ok i will i pull the door panel and everything looks good the motor sounds like is working but wont lift it will go down easy but up i have to lift it feom the battom of the glass and goes up and do you know if any explorer will work cause cant find any ranger on the wreaking yards just for explorers ..............
And i will check the brake light its weird cause it leaks on the right side corner by the top of the little window on the rear has 3 little windows on the back or two and the slideling one

Not sure about explorer being the same, you could cross check it at LMC truck

Here is the page for Ranger/BII door parts, so BII uses same regulator(15)
have a look: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fr/full.aspx?Page=17

LMC is a good site to find older body parts
Go to the main page and select Explorer instead of Ranger and see if part number is the same.

What is happening, most likely, is that the motor has come loose from regulator so can't engage the regulator when it torques in one direction or the gears on the regulator are to worn at one end so motors gear can't engage it well enough to lift the weight.

Cab brake light was just a guess since it isn't uncommon for that gasket to leak or to get rust under it and leak.
Could be window as well.
LMC would probably have those gaskets

If you hear the window motor running but it won't go up its usually the motor itself, not the regulator. There is a clutch system in the motor. It's 3 plastic "bearings" that allow the motor to spin and stop the gear from turning(so you don't shatter the glass every time you raise the window). As they wear, they can't hold up to the torque it takes to lift the window but gravity helps when you lower it. Some people have taken apart the motor and replaced the Plastic bearings with metal ones... This is NOT something I would recommend. If it's bad, just replace it.

As with most Fords, you can't just pull the motor off the regulator. When you remove the door panel, you'll find 3 dimples in the metal. The bolts are behind them. You have to drill these dimples out large enough to fit a socket through. If you pull the motor with the window up, it can come crashing down... You don't want your hand in there if that happens. Raise the window all the way and secure it. (A couple pieces of duct tape works.)

I know it is of no use to the OP's problem After suffering with power doors in Grand Wags and BMWs, the Rat's 2 wire (speaker) doors are a pleasant relief. Power doors are great, until they break. I repaired my worn out drivers' doors parts with parts from the rear door. Expect to use a drill to take apart a regulator Problems with rear doors are mostly from lack of use. I spent a full day on each door of my last Grand Wag. Quick and dirty is a strap fashioned from Gorilla tape to help the window up. :D
