ford= found on road dead

I know a guy with a yota. Honestly its a real nice truck and all, i would drive it. BUT the guy is a real ass. he use to put my truck down all the time and always hauled ass by me. than i got lift tires new hubs body armor and other stuff and what happened. I passed him on the side of the road with broken cv axle. So its the guy i hated not the truck

FORD= F-N OWNER REAL DUMB. LOL! a chebby guy at work always tells me so.he sucks and i rule ,that simple. i tow his vette all the time on my trailer, i think its got more road miles on my trailer than it ever had on its own power.but it is a dam nice ride for a punk ass kid. i would build a yota if there werent soo many of them with all mod`s blue printed and sold in 7-11,well almost, if you need it you dont have to build it just open up a catalogue and add to cart.tuff to beat a yota and i try to every time i am the only Ford in a sea of underpowered/overtired yotas when we wheel.all my buds got em and i even end up wrenching/building them.i like em like i like civics,they got a purpose.

Nearly all makes and models are equal. Its the driver's stupidity that puts it on the side of road. I can concor with my family. Ford, 0 break downs. GM, at least 5. Dodge, twice in one year, and it sits mostly year round. These are break downs that need to be towed home. And the reason why my Ford Ranger has yet to be towed? Easy, prevented manitence. An oil change here, a lube there, making sure everything is in order. Doing this has kept my Ranger going without a single breakdown.

Vehicles in the family:
06' Kawasaki KLX250 (mine)
85' Honda Nighthawk 650 (father's, has yet to be driven, under repair)
96' Ford Ranger (mine)
94' Buick Regal (father's)
96' Chevy Blazer (mother's)
91' Dodge 2500 Cummins (dad's tow/hunting truck)

Heres my theory.

If you are nice to your car or truck it will be nice to you(unless your luck went down the shitter)

I have been stranded so many times with my truck, BUT I am rough on it and it takes one hell of a beating. I cant keep bearings in it. That is probably because the tire just about fell off and it scarred the spindle up bad but i smoothed it out and put new ones in. Im too stupid and cheap to get new ones.

Buddy of mine has same exact truck but with 278,000 miles with original motor and tranny. he also takes care of his truck and the little off roading he does he usually takes it apart and repacks bearing s and what not.

RANT; off

yes, guys, u all have great comments, but i was going more towards, the trail trucks, trail ranger, vs. trail tacoma, and yes there are way to many yotas on the trail i own one myself, with a crawler kit, and all the goodies, im always pullin everyone else out, and i wanted something more difficult so i took a challenge a ford, and my rangers been way good to me, and i have the only lifted ranger in town that i know of, i actually think i have the only ranger that leaves the road, and from what i see on trs, rangers are good to everyone, i dont here much about wheelin trips on here where someone gets stuck bcuz they break a shaft, or fry a clutch or anything like that

well carry on now i like listening to this little discussion its fun

usually cosmetic breaks for me like

Bumpers, back windows, That peice of steel in front to protect steering parts was ripped off (dont know exact name) tires rolled of rims.

But nothing a high lift jack, 2x4's, spare tire, and a broom to sweep glas out of seat cant fix:icon_thumby:

I wouldn't know. I thought they just made motorcycles.

They make motorcycles? I thought they only made ATV's. It was my understanding that whatever parts they had left over after finishing the quads they thru onto a frame and called it a Ridgeline.

i thought they only made weed wackers :dunno:

and if the ridgeline was made from ATV parts it might have turned out to be a decent "pickup".

kdawg has a point though...if you own a honda, youre probably going to die ;missingteeth;
