Hey all, I thought I'd share what ford is putting out to dealers on the new ranger. It answers a lot of the questions I've seen on here regarding cab configurations, off road options, bells and whistles, etc...

Start-stop... ew.

Supposed to be easy to defeat on the '150's though, hopefully that carries over to the Ranger.

It's pretty easy to disable if you so choose.

I don't mind the start stop feature. It takes some getting used to like anything else. Once you get used to it, it's no big deal.

I can resize those if needed, but in this case I figured the bigger the better.

Its kind of the answer to a question I have never asked is all.

If it is made for it it won’t be a big deal.

Starters for the mot psrt can tske the extra work. Many of the Ford vehicles equipped with a stop start system are shipping with an AGM battery to better handle the increased electrical load.

Additionally, Ford is looking into compression start systems for stop start vehicles, very similar to what Mazda is doing.

If you go on the website it looks like a really sharp package. Only thing I don’t care for is everything is blacked out but you get silver painted wheels. Really wish they would release the nitty gritty of what the packages are.
