Could someone measure the bolt hole center spacing for the lower coil bucket on a Dana 44 Fullsize lower coil bucket?

I am 2hrs from my truck and I would like to get started making my new Lower buckets.

Hey Plum, I think those RA caps are coming in today, if they're off a Big Bronco then I can attach them to my arms and measure the distance between the bolts. I'm pretty sure the caps can attach to big bronco arms no problem, so we'll find out. I won't be able to measure until about 9pm CST when I get home though

I know the EB bolt spacing is different (smaller).

If you could just measure the cap from center of hole to the machined edge that would work. The spacing on the arm is symmetrical.

I guess it would be just as easy to measure it with I bolted together too. I just don't want to waste time an material machining lower buckets only to find they done line up.lol

I need to find out how far the holes are offset too. Im guessing 1/2" from center, but IDK. I wish I would have thought this trough before I left my truck for the week.

HA! No worries man. I'll be sure to measure though. I'll take a pic showing the measurements to make it easier. I dont want to measure incorrectly and that have you machine anything off bad info ;)

Just got a message from my gf, the caps arrived for sure today! She picked up the box herself. At long last! I'm incredibly disappointed in UPS though. Pathetic. Only 40 more minutes of work.

Ok, so I took as many photos as my GF could stand taking while I held the measuring tape. The spring perch is from an EB. Looks like they're brand new from the graveyard. The radius arms are straight from a 79 big bronc, and the caps of course are yours. I did my best, but if you have any requests, lemme know.

I dont know if this helps as those are eb pedestals. It looks like those pedestals will sit perfectly on there so I think big bronco radius caps have the holes spaced a little farther out. :/

I do believe I can see that the the radius arm hole is 5/8" from the edge and the cap is closer to 1/2".

The Bronco holes are on 1" centers and the Fullsize are on 1.25" centers.

I do believe the caps I sent you are from a 75 EB, and it looks like your coil seats are too, but your arms are from a fullsize. Meaning your threaded holes are going to be off by 1/8". Thats how my truck was when I ran EB arms with Fullsize caps and coil seats.

Hope that made sense.lol

The 5/8" center to edge on the arm verifies what a remember since 5/8" is half of 1.25".

Im gonna machine them for 1.25" and keep my fingers crossed.lol

Yeah, apparently thats the new tapatalk. Can't do it on mine either. I think when I get home I'll goahead and bolt the arms together and test fit the perches. If drilling is required i don't think it'll be too big a deal, but I certainly appreciate the heads up.

Good luck with the machining, I hope I helped! :)

Turns out the Fullsize holes are on 1.5" centers. Good thing I didn't build anything ahead of time.lol. The EB holes must be 1.25" then.
