i have currently 3.50 and i want to change to a 4.88. do i need any special modifications or can i just buy the ring and pinion?:dunno:

That means check your private messages.

for the ford 9" you just have to buy the gears, but for the 44 you have to buy a "offset" carrior.. basicly you need a carrior that has more offset than stock.

hope this helps
Kris

4 88 gears

i have 4.88 and a master install brand new never used for $ 250.00 where do u live ??

i live washing. a place about 60 miles west of spokane.

i was thinking about 5.13 maybe or higher. the 35" tires i have now are onlyl temporary until i do the motor swap. then i will be sittion on 40's.:headbang: which will require atlease a 5.13. so :dunno: where can i find the offset instal kit for the front? this is the first time i have regeared.
