Some of you know I already painted and customized my '92 Extended cab Ranger nearly 4 years ago. Heres what it looked like in its prime..
Fixing up my extended cab.

It started to rust, welds started to crack, slave cylinder was going...and I just wasn't happy with the paint job/bodywork I did when I was only 17.

I picked up a new bed in August '06 (this is a current picture, I haven't done jack to it)

Bought a new core support, and stole the lower a-pillar and inner fender from my buddies truck that got wrecked, because mine were damaged from a previous accident. I also stole the door and fender to replace the cheap chinese made crap that was on my truck.

Its called a Superdome, I bought it for $20 from a kid at Wyotech back in March of '06.

wow... that brings back memories! hahaha. the shot of the rear portion of the cab reminds me exactly of when i painted my truck about 2 years ago... when i was 17!!:icon_surprised::icon_rofl:

looks great!

I am going to do something like that this fall, I have rust starting down at the bottom of the doorwell where yours is shiny. Trying to figure out how to sandblast it and not fill the interior with sand, I also think I need to reseal the gutter seam above the door. It won't get totally repainted for awhile yet, this is just to keep it in decent shape for when I get enough stuff rounded up to redo it (doors, bed, fenders and hood) The powertrain is my main priority, but my fairly rust free cab is jumping ahead in line for abit.

Are you staying with the same color? That is a nice color for a street truck.

is that ford deep jewel green met.?looks to be the same color as my 91.do you still do bodywork i cant stand the fumes and dust so i quit the industry.electrician suits me better.

its Cayman Blue Pearl, colorcode DA. Ya I am a painter for a living, work at a collision shop now but I used to work at a Restoration shop specializing in Corvettes.

Man thats a clean lookin truck. I likes.

That's gonna look pretty slick in that two tone sceme you've got going. Just my opinion, but I think that pin stripe might look better in some shade of silver. Either way it's goona be a bitchin street rig.

Some more work done....boy I wish I had been this motivated 6 months ago.

Sandblasted, epoxy primed, and seam sealed some almost mint '86 Bronco II doors I just happened to have. Just have to make my mirror mounts and I'll be able to cut em in and get them mounted.
