I had the frame of a for sale sign behind my garage and cut one leg off and bent it so it was aimed toward the windshield and poked it in the domelight hole under the headliner and bingo finally found it where I could get a hold of it...What a pia...

Piece of cake other than fishing the wire...Nice improvement over the stock dome..If anybody is interested I'll post the link for the install it was perfect other than one socket size..:yahoo:

For future reference, a piece of speedometer cable is the best fish I have ever used.

Sounds good Paul but didn't have any speedo cable laying around.I was afraid to pull down to hard on the headliner...There was all kinds of sharp metal on the roof that scratched the pi$$ out of the top of my hand...:bawling:

I used to work at installing radios and emergency lighting packages in law enforcement vehicles, and speedometer cable was part of the basic tool kit. It is stiff enough to push and flexible enough to work its way around most obstacles. If it does meet an obstruction, just turn it a bit and you are through.

That makes sense...When the flea markets get going again I'll keep my eye peeled for one to keep in my toolbox..Thanks
