First time Ford owner from Louisiana

Sup everyone? Just picked up a 1995 2WD 2.3l Ranger for a whopping $500. This is going to be my daily driver for work, so I can keep miles low on my other new vehicle. Planning on doing a major tune-up, front end work, and suspension. Looking at buying the Colorado DuraMax next year, so then the Ranger will become a project truck and I'm gonna be looking at a 5.0 swap.

I've been a diesel tech for 10 years and I'm ASE certified, currently working for Caterpillar. I apologize now if I start asking a lot of questions, as this is the first Ford I've ever owned and I'm not too familiar with the company.
