ive been here as a guest for about a week now, anticipating getting this ranger that i bought today. So i decided to join the day i bought my ranger. So anyways, here it is.

its an '88 ranger 4x4, 4 banger, 5 speed manual. my 3rd car/vehicle.

2.3 liter 4 banger. has about 160,000 miles on it...assuming.

I bought it for $575 at an auction. It needs some work but its completely 100% drivable.

the interior is pretty dirty and needs some work. My dad and his friend have a ton of extra parts for it, so im happy about that.

and here it is again.

it needs a new paint job. the paint is chipping all over the place. Ill probably do that myself, see how good/bad i am at painting.

i like the color it has now simply because i think it fits. Though i was also thinking black. I plan on doing a 3" body lift with 33's on it someday to.

Well if you need any photochops done to see what your truck would look like with a certain color, lift, or tires you can visit this thread ->CLICKY<- and post it up there, I check it a lot and so a few other photoshop-capable members.

Truck looks good!

And it's nice to see another member in this area!
Are you going to wheel it once you get the body lift and tires? Or even now for that matter?

I think that color fits the truck well too. I like blue's on first and second gen. Rangers.

i really want to keep it an everyday driver truck cause it gets decent gas mileage...(now.)

As far as i know i dont think im going to wheel it. Its only has a 4 banger in it.

and after further thinking, i do like that blue it has on it. I just might have to repaint it that color.

Welcome! Not bad for $575...

I like the black grille,as i am planning to swap over to black grille and bumper after paint.Yours looks good!
