Have a stock 93 Ranger STX 4.0 2WD.

I bought the thing new in 93 it has almost 300K miles on it and still going strong best truck I ever owned its just hard to believe I've had this thing almost 20yrs. crazy

I'm a fire extinguisher guy so I drive around all day going from business to business with a bunch of fire extinguishers in the back of my truck 99% city driving

The truck is the only vehicle I own so i its used work and play never off road

Just looking for any advice on what shocks would work best for my particular scenario

How much weight do you usually have in the back?

I recently put Bilstein shocks in the rear of my truck and love them. My truck doesnt have near the miles as yours and all of my shocks were shot. I vote for Bilstein's all the way around.

I would say for a truck that carries extra weight reugularly a set bilsteins or KYB gas-a-justs would do good. Does your truck have swaybars on it? How old are your springs, are they still original?

Original springs no sway-bars
