I just finished putting another axle shaft only to find my tire wobble has not gone away. Doesn't make any sense to me, I've tried rotating the rims and even the drums but it just doesn't go away. Would this mean it's the axle itself? I don't see how it could be the axle because I would think the axle shaft would be the weak link?

Just noticed today that the oil seal is now leaking, Not only did the problem not get solved its gotten worse.

It's always good practice to replace the seal if you have the shaft out. You are already there and the seals are cheap.

The reason I didn't change the seals is because I cant figure out how to do it. The directions in the Hanes Manual doesn't describe well how to do it so I hoped I would get away without changing it, I'm wondering if the leak is because I didn't regrease the seal maybe? Can I remove the oil seal by itself or do I have to remove it with the Bearings?
Also whats up with my tire wobble? Can it be possible that I purchased a used axle shaft with the same wobble as my original?

I would guess that you ended up with another bent shaft. The seals are stupid easy to replace after you have done it a few times. I actually carry a spare in case I have to change a shaft on the trail.

Pull the shaft. Insert a broad tipped flat head screw driver behind one edge of the seal, and pry it out. Some times you have to work around the seal but it will come.

Next, use a clean rag to remove oil from the seal surface of the axle tube.

Installing the new seal I place a thin bead of Blue RTV sealant around the outer edge (why I dunno, its the way I was told and the way I have done it for a while) and then using the socket for the front bearing nuts I tap the seal into place.

It is important to start the seal by hand to prevent the seal from going in sideways.

Also, when inserting the new axleshaft, do your best to not slide the shaft in the new seal surface, it is possible to tear the new seal. You may not visually see a tear but it may cause it to leak.

Wheel bearings? Is there a specific way to test them, From what I can see they seem okay, spins good and no exessive play. Is there such a thing as a warped bearing?
