...and o sweet baby jesus it is loud. It sounds really mean at idle and then it gets disgustingly loud. It is so loud. It sounds good too it, they don't pop as you roll the trottle down. I will try to get a vid of them...but I don't know how.

Its about time.

I would def. like to see some pics of how your exhaust is ran, cuz ive been thinking about changing out my bullet muffler for extremes on my 84 302 ranger. I had a cherry bomb extreme on my 86 2.9 ranger and it was obnoxious too :)

I had pics and left my phone at a party tonight...hopefully my buddy got it so I can post them. I have it clamped as my welder is at my trailer. Keep in mind my truck is pretty low. My setup is prolly not the best for you.

Basically the pipes (2 1/2) come out of the headers straight back into gutted cats and over the trans crossmember. Then into the mufflers right under the gap between bed and cab and then a 90 degree bend out and exit under the back frame bend by the front spring hanger. Pics will come hopefully to explain further haha. The mufflers dump right onto your feet which makes it crazy loud.

okay here they are. I hit a pothole on the driver side so I have to rehang it as it spun the muffler around and messed up the tip. Thats work for today.

Thats a shot from the axle. You can see the driver side is messed up.

Thats a shot from the passenger tire. I had to run them like this so I don't have to chenge it when i bag it.

Well when I was putting in my starter my dad came home with my welder! YAY! He wasn't supposed to be back until Wednesday...so I welded the exhaust instead of just clmaping it. Now it sits higher and is a lot nicer...but its raining right now I will get pics whenever it stops.

dang i cant see the pics

thats weird theyre from photobucket usually that works pretty good. I will try again when its light out...been raining here all day.

looks good however i would suggest moving them away from the driveshaft, looks like one is almost touching it, you def dont want to rub your new muffler or your driveshaft in half...

Did you notice a change in MPG's? I want to get a better exhaust set up on my 02 4.0L with maybe some more hp or MPG's

I did fix them I welded them away from the driveshaft...pics coming.

And I havn't driven very much since I installed them. I don't think I will be getting much gain in MPG as I love the sound at WOT! hahaha

Sorry no clip yet. I'm having trouble finding some tranny parts. Maybe Friday I will get it all buttoned up for a spin but its Canada Day on Wednesday!!! Heres some pics of it welded in its final place. Mind the welds...I was laying on my back in my driveway hahaha.
