Finally put on my rollbar!!!

Just an FYI, both of those are light bars or a sport bars, not a roll bar. Shawn's is constructed from thin wall tubing and is made weaker by the bends in the verticle tubes and the brace tubes. The one that RSH just posted may be stronger and the bed might be reinforced to actually make the bar somewhat structural but I dont know the details about it.

I know, wasn't plannin on seein how well it held up in a rollover anyway lol

Thinking about the definity dakota M/Ts in a 30x9.50. Theyre in my price range, plus I get a discount on em. Anyone know anything about em?

my bro's truck had definity tires when he got it. a street type, but held pretty well to the pavement.

The M/Ts are real agressive looking, but wasn't sure how well they held up. Theyre only 125.99 for the 30s

Shawn_248, I like the rollbar w/ lights, it gives your lifted 2wd ranger the look of the black '79 F-150 in Urban Cowboy.IMO

love your roll bar man i think they look better siting slightly over the cab gives it more authority and to the whole women oppion on it my lady said the same about mine but i love it so she will just have to deal.... i think it has grown on her though :icon_rofl:

Dont worry about the roll bar :D looks good. Mine sticks up over the top of my truck a lil bit too but a lil more than yours.

Here is a pic of the same roll bar on my old 84 Ranger, I have the same bar on my 94 i currently own.....

^ RIP :(

It was a home made bar made to fit on a dodge ram, we cut a foot out of it and welded it back together. It slides in and actually sits on the bed rails sides and front to save bed space. I know its not going to help in a roll over but then again MOST roll bars you see in the back of pickups really wont any way. But it holds my lights and helps when I need stack a bunch of wood in the back, helps hold it place when hauling wood. Yes I still tie it all down :D

Ak_ranger, I like the way yours looks with the 4 lights, I might weld a couple more light tabs to mine
