Finally, Pics from the dunes!

what dunes are they? i may be going to silver lake sand dunes in a few weeks.....

Yes that is silver lake sand dunes. I have all my axles and drivetrain vented in to the snorkle. I checked all my fluids sunday and the only thing that I got water in were the lock outs.

i have not seen the powerlines this wet in june ever. had all kinds of problems going to pull out a bunch between 7290 / 7260 in roscommon..

got in a big ol shit with dnr too...didnt get a fine atleast...boy if my wife knew she would be pissed...

if i jumped my truck right now i think it would bust in half....it needs some serious attention.

hey i am over on 70th south of us10 on 5 mile? work 6am-6pm...well 5:15 to 5:45 really..bring your frawg over so i can gawk at it...just dont run my escort over...:woot:...unless i am in the ranger...you cant hurt that piece of shit...

For those you that don't already know better, DO NOT try to jump your stock Ranger that way! It could easily be the last thing you ever do.
I have years of experience Offroad racing, I have years experience in this truck. This truck has NO factory suspension still in it. I cannot give You all the fine points about my truck (darn lawyers) but, It does have a coil spring rear suspension w/quad shocks, the front has extended radius arms that are heavier than any you can buy. The steering system is the most important part but, all I can tell you about it is that it is ZERO bump steer. I sprained wrists and thumbs running Ranger steering systems offroad, Not anymore. The cage and straps aren't that important to me, I wouldn't recommend trying to get into offroad racing with out them though. I do use my seat belt religiously! I even put it on to move a vehicle in the parking lot! Silly? yeah but, It's a good habit to be in.
Oh, If you have ever noticed, In my profile it says "completly insane". If you look at the last picture in my original post you will understand why.

Real vehicles (our beloved RBVs, imports, whatever) are built, not bought. Kudos Mutant...can't wait for the build thread later! :bye:

Yeah, I didn't quite word that right, I'm not the best writer. Any vehicle can be aired out a little. Rbvs can air out better than most. The problem comes when a newb gets a Ranger and say's "I can air this out good, I saw it an TRS" Then He launches it 100 ft out and the radius arms fold up under the front of the truck and he flys out the windsheild after ripping the seat belts out. That'll leave a mark!
For those of you that don't know, Rulebreaker has had a little flight training too. LOL.
