And for those that don't believe or have faith, look at Photo #5 Titled "And the Rest", look to the left of the bike, see the propane tank:icon_surprised:? NO EXPLOSION!!! That tank was about 2 ft from that bike, not a scratch on it, no burns, FD checked the tank after they noticed it (about an hour after they were there) no danger they could not believe it themselves.

I never got a chance to mod the new bike (VTX). And the paint I did my self (first time ever!) I ordered from an online paint company. It is jet black. This was the same style truck I had when I was 17, I pinstriped it the same way, except back then I had pinstripes going across my side windows like a EKG (heartbeat) and that was before Chevy came out with their "Heartbeat" slogan. My original truck also had hand painted in canary yellow and Calligraphy "The Ultimate Sin" after Ozzy Ozbornes tape, I hit a telephone pole and that tape was stuck in the player, would not come out,and just kept playing that song over and over. The original also had 14-38x15 Ground Hawgs (if I remember right,it has only been 23 years ago)

your new bike is nice.

as a firefighter I have to say its not all that uncommon for propane tanks to stay intact, it take VERY intense heat and flame impingment to send one high-order

Wtf happened to the bike? How did it catch o fire?

Someone wanted it more than me and failed miserably in hot wiring it. Wires overheated and caught fire, then the return fuel line was right there where the wire harness is at, gas started to leak after the return line burned some and just kept getting worse. We went out that morning to prepare for our Anniversary, we got home about 1:45pm and at 2:10 or 2:15pm all 4 of us plus our 2 dogs were running for our lives. The only thing we were able to salvage was the clothes we were wearing and our lives. All this happened a few months after I lost my father, was told I'm a Diabetic and it has already started effecting my heart and being rear ended at work disabling me. So did I have a good ending to 2006 and a good 2007...I don't think so.
I'm back in my home now, still putting the pieces together, starting to get back on our feet money wise at least. We are still in good spirits about it though. I had That bike for only 6 months, so I am riding my other one. Suzuki VL1500-better known as the LC1500.
