Fants truck

That's the factory setup, I just mounted it under the frame mount to be able to fit things.

I think that was the f150 shaft, the waggy one is smaller in diameter.

I may consider a 2 inch body lift but then my 32s ell look goofy and I can't afford to go to a bigger size.

On your one wire alt search. Google ford single wire 100 amp altenators. Or 200 amp,140amp. Whichever u choose. Ul find all kinds of websites. U can also run chevy altenator. If its a single wire altenator. Main thing is ur mounting tabs being the same for ur setup. The one wire hooks to ur battery and ur good to go.

U could do new body bushings and 2 in lift and it wouldnt look bad. My truck has 3 in body lift. New body bushings and 4 in suspension lift with 33x12.50 and it dnt look goofy. I could run 35 but the 33s look ok

New body bushing frm duff or any polyurathane bushing kit will lift ur truck 3/4 in. My rubber mounts looked fine. But wow did it help. And alot less bumpy ride.

I've already got 6 inches of lift so 2 more will just make it goofy. Also if I go any higher I would consider FW axles. I don't have sway bars because the PO of my front asks cut them off and the rear just doesn't have any. Best thing I can do is just build a skid plate setup to protect what is low hanging.

Only next real solution is to take the rear blocks out to level the truck then a BL wouldn't be as bad but I like the rake the truck has. Already enough lift for me to get in and out of, everybody else has to jump because they are shorter then me, I'm 6ft 1in.

From ur pics of ur driveline. U need the front driveline from a ford explorer rear. Its what i used for my rear driveshaft. Then ul be able to have 1330 u joints all the way through. And its smaller diameter pipe. Get u a piece of c channel. 4 in wide on flat side. Mount flush to ur frame bottom. Itl give u clearance for the driveline and be plenty beefy for weight of trans and tcase. Il post pic i got of this set up

Since ur already hitting floorboard if u push trans higher. Just make c channel stretch to endges of frame and bolt up. U should have clearance then

If not build deop down bracket by using angle iron and welding like in pic til driveline clears

I have that picture, the guy who owns that right gas been helping me with my trans member and he says the the design I'm making will hold up just fine. If I could clock the case more I would but don't have the motivation time or money to do it right now. I figure I should get it to 4wd then run it and if anything breaks I will improve it like the old saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it. Also I can't push the trans up higher as I have had to mod my shifter once because of clearance between the bottom of the dash and where the shifter comes out of the floor but also I didn't get my engine as back as far as I could have.

Now as for your build have you decided in what fan setup you are going to go with?

I read some on ur build. What yr model explorer radiator did u use?that thing is huge. I read that 91-94 will fit like stock 1 row. Use same mounting brackets and all. I also see ur on a tight budget do to wife and kids as i am. Congrats on kiddo.ive got two girls. 6 and 4. Goin 7 yrs on marriage. And aint but 25. So i knw the feeling of being limited mny for ur truck. The cheapest and easiest way for that c channel is a boat trailor. Go to ur local scrap metal yard. Most will have a piece that 3 ft long. And get u bout 2 or 3 ft piece of angle iron. Itl cost u maybe 20 bucks. Price of scrap is down in my state. So its cheap. Then measure and weld. For skid plates. U can get plate metal or old skid plates outa local jy or scrap metal yard for cheap. Then fab ur brackets. Thats what il be doing myself.

Yes. Definately goin with the taurus electric fan. Goin to junk yard tmrw for fan and radiator. Hopefully il find what i need. By the way if u have a ford 2wd tranny crossmember frm f150 its 4 1/2 wide and could be used for ur setup as well

I'm not sure on the year as I got it and the fan off a guy on here but it's the big thick one, think it's like 3 core. It does hang low and I did have to cut the to of it somewhat along with deleting the hood latch and the part it connects to on the hood but that's because of how far forward I had to mount it so I'm running hood pins. I'm also running a painless wiring harness to make it all work, not sure on the part number but the details are in my build thread on all of that.
