Family vehicles

Keep it in the RBV family and get a Sport Trac. True story. Problem solved. I will take a 7.5" barreled 7.62x39 AR upper please as payment, $300.

Do yourself a favor. You want a low slung 4 door sedan Babies get big and lift a 3 or 4 yr old out of the back seat is a very awkward stretch. I would be looking at a Crown Vic , or something Camry sized.

i sure as hell am not anti mopar....

I would take a Chrysler product ANY day over anything from GM...any year, make, model GM. I've had a couple Jeeps and my ex had a Dodge Shadow with the 3.0 V6. Just all around good cars. I have also owned several GM trucks and a Malibu...all utter shite.

My current special lady friend has a Trailblazer. Of course it has all the weird GM electrical issues and it goes through oil like crazy but I guess it is an OK A to B vehicle.

I don't have anything that seats more than three people. Buying an Explorer or another Cherokee or something like that is always in the back of my mind but then I'd lose my hauling capabilities.

I've often thought about getting a Ford Flex for a small family vehicle but a dream vehicle would be a 02-03 Excursion 3/4 ton 4x4 with the 7.3L diesel

My Explorer isnt to terrible to put kids in. By the time they got too heavy to lift, they could climb in themselves. My daughter loves my wifes JEEP....

Flexes look kinda goofy on the outside but are very nice on the inside IMO. Downside aside from my GF hating the outside is they are usually a lot more expensive than say a comparable Explorer... which isn't a bad car either.

Much as I hated it; the Winstar was the right vehicle for the munchkins. As it is no longer built - the Dodge Minivan gets my vote.

Explorer is a distant 2nd place - the sliding door is sooo nice when they kids are really small and in car seat/stroller and you're in a tight parking lot. Especially, when you have the auto door open...

Low slung sedans don't work so well for those of us over 6' tall when trying to put kids in back. :(

I think the Dodge minivan is on the chopping block too...
