So I went down to my Ford Parts Counter to get the F150 coil spacers and guess what, there were 22.00 for left side and 47.00 for the right side. So I found the 2" spacers that was 125.00 from some places for 50.00 on Ebay with free shipping.

I am not a fan of running coil spacers,,,,,they are way to dangerous...lift it the correct way of you might have a really bad expensive incident. I do not know anybody that has ever run spacers for all my 4x4 and 2wd lifted trucks. None of our local 4x4 truck shops will install coil spacers...ever!!!!

I have some leveling coils for sale if interested.

Please explain how a coil spacer that bolts underneath the coil seat is at all dangerous?

The only shitty ones I have seen are the poly ones that like to split/fall apart.

They come loose...I have seen it many times.......put in real coil springs and live longer.

not sure how they would come anymore loose than without them.... I just made these and installed them...and as hard as I can crank on a 1 1/8" wrench, I doubt theyd come loose.

Just go with stacked washers, like Nathan ^^

Damn, that is so scary looking.......

He is right, it is dangerous to use them like that, because of the amount of force being pushed down, it has a higher rate of breaking than a standard lift. A way higher rate.

You get what you paid for, and sometimes the cheap stuff will end up hurting you in the long run.

I really don't get how you see that as being dangerous or un safe in anyway? The factory did the exact same thing on 2wd f150's.....

I have been running my 1" washer spacers in my lifted 91 for 7 years now with zero problems and it gets beat on.

I just made and installed a set of 1 1/8" solid aluminum spacers in my 97 as well.....
