Work in progress

New tailgate in progress. Made out of scrap at work 1 3\4 x .120 square tubing and expanded metal. Once its finished its off to the powder coater. By the way that is not the right tire going on there i just needed a bolt pattern, its gonna be a full size spare.

If thats makining fun of my welds then yeah. All i got is a 135 amp mig setup up at college and this is the first time ive used it alot. My dad has a big arc rig back home but these will work for now. I am by no a proffesional welder lol but I got a little better on the other bracket. I know they will be better than what they replaced lol

I never make fun of anyone's welds(unless it's my brother's, just because it's fun! ), just pointing out what I see.


I like the simplicity of the bracket. I went a little elaborate on mine, but it works pretty well.

Reverse "engineering" this power steering reservoir for a fellow member's V8 ranger.

....with a homemade baffle to keep the fluid from sloshing around.

It's getting there....
