So this morning I run down to my shed since I needed a couple things. I'm in a hurry and was forced into a late start because when I got the stain for the job, the yahoos behind the counter gave me three wrong cans of stain, so now I had to go track down what I needed on a Sunday, so half the places are not open and the rest don't open till almost noon. So I get almost up to my shed and I'm like whoa... WAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT a minute here... why on earth is the radius arms for my high pinion D-44 sticking up in the air?? I know I didn't leav.....aww f***.......

Yup. All gone. D-30 front from a Jeep, 7.5" rear from a BII (3.73 gears), 8.8" rear from a 95 F-150 (3.08 gears but only 72k miles on it), and a D-60 FF rear from a 1978 F-250 with 4.10s.

My HD D-44 (with the power assist front steering, a match for the D-60 rear) was dragged down to the road through my yard. I suspect they may be back tonight, so I'm keeping watch.... State Police are just a phone call away....(seriously, they have a barracks like 10 minutes away if they do the speed limit). They might be a little surprised when they find that the D-44 hasn't been moved but has grown roots....

But seriously.... I was so fired up this morning I couldn't see straight.....

I had my name and phone number in paint marker on 'em, guess I'll be calling junkyards tomorrow....

i got hit by a steel thief two weeks ago. took 2 coils not on shocks, 2 on shocks (broke) a lawn mower crank.

Except the idea of the weight and they could be scraped for money I would say they was offroaders. Cause I don't see any other reason for some one to steal axles unless the knew what they was. I hope you can get even with em. I hope even more you get your stuff back. Good Luck!

Thanks for the props ya'll. I sat watch most of last night till I started doing more sleeping than watching. Off to work again this morning. The thing that really burns me is that if it was scrap thieves, that's what, like $40 in scrap? Worth a good bit more if you knew what it was worth and sold it, but if they knew what that stuff was worth and wanted to straight up sell it, I would have thought they would have ignored the D-30, 7.5" and 8.8" and gone after the HD D-44, D-60, and Hi-Pinion D-44 first.

Dad is keeping watch for me during the day now, I just have to watch it at night. Gonna make for a long couple days with little sleep though. Guess I'll have to start patrolling the yard in my BDU's and be seen doing it, make people think I'm some crazy person that if you sneak on the property will be like slithering through the bushes to come up and grab you or somethin, lol.

I'd love to catch the lil bastids though....

Since bullets are not stamped and numbered in firing order the warning shot can be 2nd through last available round.

true, i dont know what the rules in PA are though. in NC, the criminal has to have forced his way into your home before you're authorized to use deadly force. just being on your property will land you in a jail cell real quick, even if you dont kill them.
