extending jack stands?

+1 on Panama and YYC, Cribbing is fine, if you are worried about wood splitting, use a piece of plywood between crib and jack stand.
Good luck, you are on the right track by being cautious and thinking before you act.

It was Jay, nothin wrong with what he did, it was just the gutted out body and he wasn't working under it. It was an easy way to roll a new frame under it
