built these to go with my V.M.S.(copykats) stx lift brackets.:thefinger: its all 1/4 except the bracing on the arm brackets thats 3/16.

mama like......that x member is sweet. i need my tax return to get here so i can get a welder

Here is another extended set. When I got them they were already extended with the post mount still there and female heim joints on the end. They are 3/16" wall tubing.

I cut the ends off and put on a set of Ballistic Joints.

These have caster correction for a 6" or so lift so with our measly 3.5" of lift we ended up with 11 degrees or so of caster.

Aftering being on for over a year.

Coated Radius Arms by maniak_az, on Flickr

so the arms turned out great i have the skyjacker 8 inch Ranger coils and the arms did not help any as in flex with ranger coils. But now i can easily get a 23inch coil in my explorer and that is what i was going for. So im hoping on ordering jeep coils then it will be all worth it .

How are you not getting the flex you need? I have the same 8" coils and they flex great...in fact it maxes out the bushings at the radius arm and my axle shafts start to rub the stud bolts on the inside of the passenger-side beam. There is no more flex to be had unless you I switch to a heim at the end of the radius arm and uni-ball at the axle pivot bushing. The SJ 8" coils are 21" free length BTW...

With long arms and RBV coils you are light years of ahead of stiff lift coils and short radius arms (they can't provide a whole lot of leverage to compress the spring...)

Just curious thats all.... :icon_confused:

BTW, awesome custom radius arm build pictures guys, much inspiration and talent to be had here. :icon_thumby:
