Is an Explorer rear axle a direct bolt in for my '94 Ranger? I'm interested in the rear discs and I'm lowering the truck, so I'm thinking it would not be necessary to do a flip kit.
Thanks in advance.

If you are planning on lowering the truck, you might have to do less work than most do on the explorer axles. They are sprung-under, so 4x4 users typically have to move the spring perches ontop of the axle.

Otherwise, if you want the disc brakes you should also change your brake master Cylinder, because the one you have wont be calibrated for 4-wheel disc brakes.
