How much, if any, lift will I get by using the coils and leafs out of an 4x4 Explorer on my 89 BII? I'm currently running 33's and would like to go up to 35's or maybe even 37's. If I could get an inch out of using them then I would would only have to cut another inch from my fenders to do this. Thoughts?

About 11/2" lift but you will be quite a bit stiffer.Have you had the doubler a long time has it given you trouble? Is the shaft factory or home made?

I say do it, but I would only go to 35's, 37's are asking for trouble

trail B2 I have had the doubler for a little over a year and absolutely love it! It's a DD Machine kit and it is very high quality. No complaints here.

Bennybooster thanks for the advise. I keep leaning toward the 35's but when I bought the 33's I figured I would never want to go bigger but here I am. Decisions....descisions.

The springs should give you a little lift (1-2"), but like said, they'll be a lot stiffer, hindering your flex (this is assuming you're using stock springs now).

I also don't think there's much hope for fitting 37s without at least 4" lift and massive fender trimming (and possibly shimming the front axle forward an inch too).
