b2 coils vs. explorer coils

so i was told explorer coils off a 4 dorr 4x4 gave b2's approxametly 2'' of lift. i was reading specs off autozones page online and b2 coils and explorer coils off a 92 are about the exact same dry hieght so how do they lift bronco's?

they're stiffer than a bronco's springs b/c they're holding up a heavier engine/vehicle. since the springs are stiffer they'll compress less when the weight of the b2 is set on them.

i dont know if you'll get 2" of lift either. you may need to add some washers under the coil if you want more. you can also get aluminum coil spacers for pretty cheap and that'll give you about 2" of lift and you wont be using a sitffer spring than you already have.

Depends on how whooped the orignal springs are. I gained 2" with mine, but the originals were shot. Sitting on the floor the stock Ranger springs were a little longer, but the Explorer springs have a larger diameter wire.

longer radius arms arent needed for the spring swap are they?

no, you have about 2 inches of room to go up before you max out the stock suspension. trucks vary though
