i have a 1989 xlt 4x4 with the 2.9 and an auto trans. and im looking for a cheap way to get a few more inches of lift and from my research i can use explorer leaf springs paired with either explorer coils, 2 inch leveling coils or coil spacers to level it out. Which way would be the most economical? and what results can i expect with each option? such as ride quality. post any pictures if you have them! thanks

depending on how wore out ya stock springs are will decide how much ya gain....also if ya have a SC or not

I gained 2" of lift in the rear with the 4 door Ex leaves.....others not as much....

as for the front....most economical is the washers....and your ride stays the exact same since they re-use ya stock springs.....

dunno how much you would gain with the front Ex springs, but you will gain with the 2" lift coils.....
