gonna do a explore rear axle and disc brake swap, has any one delt with the disx brake situation? can i use the ranger master? i have a 2001 ranger edge with abs, can i justg remove the check valve at the master?

4whl ABS Rangers do not have to do anything to the master cyl when putting discs in the back.

the rear disc wont drag? i did a drum to disc on other vehicles and you had to remove a check valve in the master, i dont wanna mess up the rear brakes on the new axle, and what do you do about the parking brake cable?

You don't even touch the master on a 01+ ranger. On older trucks you do need to address the proportioning valve and the master cyl, but on these newer trucks, the electronics take care of it for you.

Just did 13" front rotors and 12" rear rotors on my little brothers '01 ranger. Stops like a mother and no mods needed other than putting the brakes on and bleeding them.

Expo parking brakes = stupid design. I'm going Cobra rear brakes when I go discs. MUCH better parking brake setup.
