I'm looking at some 65 mustangs 289 ex. manifolds for this swap. The exits on both are straight back. I originally planned on a set of maverick manifolds but they are priced higher then headers. At that price I'll buy the headers and save some money.

Has anyone tried the stock 65 mustang manifolds, or the shorty headers off the early 90's mustangs.

Thanks
Keith

I didnt have any luck with the shorty mustang headers but it depends on how your motor is set in there.

If you're interested, I have a set of early Bronco manifolds I'll sell cheap. They're the same as the Maverick manifolds. PM, me if you so choose.

I tried the 94-95 bodystyle, the DS fit but the PS pointed straight at the frame. Neither side of the foxbody headers fit will fit.
