Today, I serviced the rear differential fluid and found an odd piece of crumpled peel-and-stick heat shielding in the frame. It did not look like it belonged anywhere, and all of the bolted-in heat shields were in place and in good condition. Does anyone know if peel-and-stick heat shields were used in the manufacturing process? Or does anyone have a diagram of the heat shield locations? I am curious if I just picked this up on the road or if it needs replacing.
