I just swapped a disc explorer 8.8 under my 95 ranger and cannot use my original drum parking brake cables. Will some explorer parking brake cables match up with my ranger ones at the Y split on the cable? Or what do other people do? Thanks

come on, i know people have put explorer 8.8 under rangers. how did you do the parking brake?

i'm gonna have the same question soon, just with a 94 drum 8.8.

Yep got mine to work exactly as you mentioned. Used the rear 2explorer cables coming off of each wheel, tied into the existing Ranger mainline. Passenger side cable went into the bracket on the frame(rearmost part of the Ranger cable) and the short driverside Explorer cable went into the metal "snap" on the frame(closer to the cab).
