Has anybody ever put a ZF S5-42 in their 1983-1992 Ranger?

I'm pretty sure I've seen someone else on here that has done it but I don't recall who. Have you? Those transmission are enormous, that's really the only thing in my mind that might make it harder to install.

I am fixing too; got 302 set in chassis and gathering my clutch parts now. 3" body lift should aid clearance in the trans tunnel I hope.

I would think it will be no problem with a body lift. The top side of it is really the only place I could foresee having clearance issues and only with a stock height floor pan. Post pics!
