One of these days ima go to Regina. My brother lives in Regina (just for you @PetroleumJunkie412 ); he has friends with one of the new Mach e's. (I won't call an SUV a Mustang)
They commute daily from Lumsden to Regina for work (~100km round trip). They had no issues making the trip in -30 C weather this past winter. Plugging the EV in overnight was no different from plugging in an ICE in the same conditions. During summer, they drive commute all week on single charge.
Colleague in Scotland with Nissan Leaf likes fact that car always has full battery when he leaves the house.
Friends have summer vacationed from Toronto to Calgary (4k km) and back with their EVs with no range issues (and cost of <$100). Let see how far our ICE gets on one Benjamin Franklin...
Once again...IC were superior to horses. EV's...are...not superior to what they are trying to replace. My horse eats the grass in my field and drinks the water from my well, wagon requires very little maintenance
Why would I buy a stinky and noisy ICE vehicle for my trips to town, they are unreliable, its just a stupid FAD
If we only had internet and forums back in the early 1900's, lol
"Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it"
"I'll never get a ICE vehicle"
"I'll never fly on an airplane"
"I'll never get a computer"
"I'll never get a cell phone"
"I'll never get a smartphone"
"I'll never............"
Just human nature
Electric propulsion is superior to ICE in every way, which is why trains and ships have used electric propulsion, with diesel generators, for 50+ years, first diesel/electric was 1925
First electric "train" 1879
Only current issue with personal propulsion is "range" which will be continually extended as time goes by
Reason EVs are now offered is because their range is now within general use parameters for 90% of the people
30 years ago it wasn't, even 20 years ago it was marginal , Ranger EV, 1998-2002, had a range of 60-70miles
Imagine what will be achieved in the next 10 years
"I'll never get an EV", of course not, lol
I dont care if they can go 1000 miles on a charge, get to 60 in 1 second and can float. Ill never buy one."Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it"

Why? Because it doesn’t go VRRROOOOOM?I dont care if they can go 1000 miles on a charge, get to 60 in 1 second and can float. Ill never buy one.
You dont get how dedicated i am to this.
No, cause he wants to look like Tom Platz. Why? Because it doesn’t go VRRROOOOOM?
No, because fuel is for cars. Electric is for toastersWhy? Because it doesn’t go VRRROOOOOM?
Solution for the range problem. And a possible lucrative new career.

That's not a generator - it's a mobile power bank. No different from a tow truck showing up with a 5 gallon gas can for an ICE vehicle.
