Escorts 2nd SAS

At the end of the video I had to back up cause driver front tire was catching the fender.

Damage report from Bundy trip:
Bent sliders on both sides,
Alternator killed from sinking the truck in mud/water. Upgraded to the 130amp while I was at it,
Clutch is not working from being submerged,
Transmission had some water in it,
Rear driveshaft is bent from rubbing the gas tank,
Driver side mirror is broken,
Cracked pass side headlight and side lense,
Many more scratches and dents in the bedsides,
Steering is messed up. Don't know what is wrong with it yet,

So far that is all I have noticed. I will have to give it a thorough washing to find more.

I will have to post pictures later when I get them uploaded.

And the d30 is still holding up.

I would check your diffs to be sure there isn't water in them either.

The clutch not working right probably explains why your rpms where so high driving and fuel mileage wasn't the greatest.

Diffs are dry.

That pic was on the way there.

It is evident from the video your truck has outrageous flex:beer:

Yes, seems that it does.

Just finally got the time to read through your entire build thread. Awesome work! :icon_thumby:
Its awesome having a look alike truck, but I have to say, you have quite a bit more work and time into your truck than I do. Hopefully I can catch up at some point :icon_cheers:

On a side note, if you had done your second pair of lights like this
IMAG0009.jpg

our trucks would have looked EXACTLY alike from the front.

Decided to finally clean the truck. Been muddy from Bundy last few weeks.

i know its some where in the 200 pages but how tall are your front springs at ride height? and how long are the bump stops you built inside the coils?

I know that you have updates for this and know what's going on with the truck.

At ride height? Crap, I don't really remember. But I would say close to 18". I can go out to the garage and measure them for you tomorrow.
And the bump stops are actually to short. They needed to be 1" longer to keep the shocks from bottoming out.

Bryan, I haven't touched the truck nor have I worked more than 2 days the last two weeks. My wife has been battling cancer since June last year and the chemo makes it tough for her to do anything on her own. I plan to update this build as soon as I get time.

I hope she will be well enough for the spring meet to meet Sara and Vanessa.
