Haha, wondered if anyone would ask that. Those are swaybar relocation brackets. Where they are now, they will be in the way and I need to cut them off.

Haha. They do look odd, but you will see how they work soon.

Also, those are 7/8" g8 bolts.

With grade 5 lock nuts....

They are temporary. The hardware store didn't have them and I didn't feel like driving to the other side of town to get grade8. I will get them after the upgrade.

just get the non-teflon inner thingy ones. That's all i've ever ran

The bolts are not in tension anyway, the load is all in shear. I dont see how a grade 5 nut could fail before any if the other components on a.D30 or D44 lol. The knuckles will snap before the nuts were at half their rated load.

7/8" bolts...I don't think they will break anytime soon. Lol

Like when my friend borrowed my 3 point brush hog. I use a 1/2" GR5 bolt at the gear box "yoke" for a reason. Well, he broke 2 of those in 2 hours, so he decieded to use a 9/16" GR8 bolt. Well, he blew the gear box up...

Yea, I was just stating a fact. The ONLY thing I ever use are steel lock nuts/ flanged steel lock nuts.

I just take a small chisel and peen the last two threads enough to make my own lock nut. I normally tack weld the bolt to the nut as well.
