Escorts 2nd SAS

They both look pretty good to me. I looked at getting a bender awhile back and was looking at jd2. Are you going to keep it manual or power it?

Just keep it at manual for now. If I find a cylinder and pump dirt cheap I can always upgrade it.

Google reviews on them.

I did. I also watched videos on both of them.

My buddy Matt has the JD2 model 32 hydraulic. That's what I used to make the front bumper.

Sweet news!

Do you know if dies are interchange able between different makes/models?
My buddy has a manual bender. I need to find out what brand. He has a 1-3/4 die, so when I get mine, I will be getting a 1-1/2" die. Hopefully I have one in the next few months. All depends on this tax return lol

That I do not know. I would assume not.

If go with the JD2 from what I've read but both are good stuff.

Might have to wait a few more weeks for the bender. My credit card was declined, not enough credit. So I think I will wait for tax return.

USPS dropped off parts from RuffStuff today for the trackbar. So I'm still waiting on the ballistic parts to get here from FedEx.

These came today from Rusty's. Trackbar mount and swaybar relocation brackets.

I finally got around to finishing the Saginaw pump bracket. I originally messed up the design and left it sit for a few months and then the other day saw it sitting under the bench collecting dust. So I made some adjustments to it and I think it will work now.
I had to redo the part where the a/c pump sits, I forgot to take into account the pump is rounded where it mounts, so I modified it by welding a few washers in place. It's not finished yet, I will make sure it works before I finish welding braces.

I think I will have to shim the pump a little, the bracket is not square but oh well its just a prototype

Yea thats what I did. It's about 3/4 of a degree off. I just put one thin washer on the bolts to the right to square it up.

I had to order the pressure line from advance auto. No one in town carried the hose. So, if it gets here by Friday I will swap the pump and bracket this weekend when I have everything torn apart.

That's what I'm planning as well. I'm swapping steering boxes to my drilled/tapped box as well. The one that's on my truck now is junk. WAAAY too much steering play that it's scary. I got caps for the fittings today so it's all ready for this Weekend..

Ha. Yeah same here.

That line is for a 94 e150. Part number I belive is 71846.... I think.
