Mine will be goin on a trailer on its way to wheelin most of the time, damn truck already has 234,xxx miles on it.
I agree though, I like the dual function of a simple truck/weekend wheeler like escorts or BrayD's. The SAS just makes it that much more usable. I routinely tow for work and getting rid of the funny handling of the TTB in the wind, on the free way, with 3000# back there is something I really look forward to.
There is just something badass about a clean, functional, capable and streetable Ranger
Keep it up escort![]()
Above all, TTB parts are getting harder to find and there is little after market for it compared to a d30, d44, etc...
Quiting, I would say not as much as keeping up with stuff that you can still get parts for and still keep it simple.

Exactly.
Maybe that is why I always have less body damage than others in my group?

I'm not sure if that other driveshaft I had with me when we did my 4x4 swap will work with your truck.
If it will, you can have it. It doesn't have the double cardan joint.
I will measure it tomorrow and let you know the length.
Or maybe you need some limiting straps if the front axle is dropping to far. At least ones that you can take on and off for when you drive on the road and when you go offroading.
