Ive been fighting a sinus infection the past few days and it isnt fun, making my life hell. I too need to clean out the inside of my truck and get the under body detail cleaned better and under body spray it and since there is mud under there, that tells me where I need to spray....everywhere!!!!!!!
Damn sinus infections, I get them at least twice a year. Spring and fall....plus my work environment probably doesn't help.
Been thinking a lot lately about upgrading from the D30...maybe a 44 but not wanting full width...getting tired of replacing unit bearings...sigh. with that said, the problem I am having is another junk wheel bearing. The one I just replaced a month ago. Damn things aren't cheap.
Just got a spare tire for $25. Just need to go pick it up. Guess it is a super swamper LTB. It is bald and has a few plugs in it. That's fine though, just going to be.a.spare. now I need wheel to go with it.
i dont regret goin fullwidth 1 bit. sounds like you want to upgrade for the same reasone i did. i was burnin thru them like hotcake's you can take an old unit bearing and use it to make a spare tire carrier i should post a writeup in th fab section on how i did that with the dirty whit boy. i used the hat of an old brake rotor for mine. spent a long time with a cut off wheel to cut off all the excess.
I take that back 1 of the trails that i run fairly frequently i definately have to creep thru since sidewalls on both sides rub several times at the same time. if the tree's were any closer i would be S.O.L. and after the pics of me stuck in the mine pond we had to cut a couple trees to get back out , but that woulda had to happen even with the 30
Since this is my DD, I don't want full width. I like what brayd did to his 44. I was just thinking of it and it won't happen for a while if ever. I just don't have the budget right now for it.
don't do a rubi d44 tho.. not worth it. its not really a step up from a d30. at least do a narrowed d44 or a waggy one. but NOT a rubi one, unless you get it free! lol
I drive mine everywhere still. aside from my the work van it's my only form of street transportation. it make's frequent trips to town, lumber yard, grocery stor, and everywhere else i need to go.
i don't see the downfall of full width's unless you're in one of those fender flare law places... lol. i'm in MS, we dont' know what flares are...
and some trails are not full width friendly. idk... if you're not going much larger on tire size to make your COG higher, i would just do a narrowed d44. if you're going much taller, do full width for stability
