that's great glad it worked out for you guys. these 2.3l motors are bullet proof. shouldn't have any problems.

sometimes. I've had new ones howl. run ATF instead of power steering fluid and make sure you bleed all the air out. the howl is caused by excess air in the system. A lot of people run PS fluid, but the manual calls for ATF in the power steering system. You can expect a little whine it's just a ford thing, but nothing excessive.
