Hey guys, new here and I have a couple questions.
Long story short I have a 1994 XLT Reg. Cab 2.3L I4 4x2 manual that is rusted out on the bottom of the frame. The engine and transmission are great though. That being said, my dad and I found a 1997 XLT Ext. Cab 4.0L V6 4x4 automatic truck that had a blown motor. The guy that owned it bored out the cylinders(poorly) and killed it. We wanted to just do a simple engine swap of the 2.3L 4x2 into the blown 4.0L V6 4x4 spot. Can we do that with it being a previous automatic 4x4 and the new one being a manual 4x2?? What all would we need besides wiring harness and computer from the donor 2.3?
Thanks for the help!

I would go find a good 4.0l to drop in it much much easier.
