Napa has a stock replacement hydro mount for and a rubber non OEM Certified replacement. I figure the rubber might be stronger than the hydro unit, but was wondering if anyone had any experience with the rubber one? the rubber one is like $10 less... I'm open and just curious, would like to do something better than the stock POS like the leaf spring bushing type, but would rather just bolt it together quick since it's just the passenger side that broke and the drivers side looks like a complete PIA, so I'll just make up something to restrain it from taking the whole tension load...

anywho, thanks for any input

well my drivers side broke a while back and i asked my dad the same question. The rubber ones are pretty solid, just hope you dont have a problem with a little shaking.

I could care less about vibration, this thing's far from pristine and cozy... and at 170K on the clock, it's seen better days :)

I figured the rubber would be stiffer and maybe stronger, just figured I'd ask opinions, since I know several people have had bad experiences with engine mounts on these things...

I tore both replacement mounts in less than 2 years. Pain in the butt to replace both of them. So I built my own. Nice part is, they won't let the motor flop and twitch if they fail...
