....did any other companies make an electric truck?

I can recall an offer to buy plans to convert your Isuzu(?)/ mini pick-up truck. It was basically pulling the engine out & install a big ass electric motor in it's place. Don't remember the battery set-up. What impressed me the most was the stick tranny must be used & 3rd gear was the "1st"-

saw one at the Fabulous Fords Forever car show. read his little info poster but forgot all the details. the local university had a small fleet of them, i think now they're all sitting in a parking lot rotting somewhere
