Efi swap

I have a 1983 ford ranger that has a 2.8l engine and I wanted to make it fuel injected and I saw some things where I have to change the intake manifold to a four barrel anyways I just want to see what I need if anyone has information on this

Could always buy a 2bbl electric carb. Relatively sure kits start around 800$ or so. They're pretty much the best of both worlds.. instant starts, better efficiency, little more power more than likely.. and it keeps the appearance of a carb'd motor.
